5 things that made up my childhood

I was born in 1997 so to be honest I can't remember the 90's so I think that makes me a 00's kid. These are five things that made up my childhood leading up to the present day because technically I’m still a child.

1.      Tamagotchi's- I remember having one in primary school and the teachers banned us from taking them to school. So I had to give it to my mum to look after while I was at school and she kept forgetting about it so when I came home it would be dead. You became one of the most popular kids if you had the guts to take it to school in your school bag.
2.      Club penguin- almost everyone had a club penguin and I remember spending ages on that game where you had to catch the coffee bags, it was so cool.
3.      Come outside- this was my favourite TV show of all time, I wanted a dog like pippin and an aeroplane so much every time I watched it.
4.      The Wishing Chair Collection- This was one of the many Enid Blyton books that I as addicted to as a kid. Other books included, My Naughty Little Sister and all The Famous Five books.
5.      The Freedom- this is a bit cheesy but serious I miss not having to worry about anything. I know that I don’t have an awful lot to worry about now because I don’t have to worry about bills and a job, but compared to a few years ago I have a lot more to think about, I’m starting SIXTH FORM in September, and that’s crazy!

5 facts about me

I couldn't think of anything else to write about. I was trying to think of something cool that I knew about so I could share my wisdom about it, then I realised that I know quite a lot about myself. So here are 5 of the weirdest thing about myself that I could think of (there’s probably stranger stuff about me but this is all I can think of at the moment)

1.      I have pictures of Narnia stuck to the back of my wardrobe, so that whenever I open my wardrobe it’s like I’m entering Narnia... I can’t even say I was little when I put them up, it was actually quite recently.
2.      If I could have any job in the world I would be an actor. Who wouldn't want to fly around the world meeting famous Hollywood actors for money!
3.      I hate fizzy drinks. Sometimes if forced I can just about tolerate them, but I wouldn’t choose to drink them. They're just so weird and they make your nose tingle which is unnatural.
4.      I talk to my self... ALOT. And I don't just mean an occasional word. I regularly have full on conversations with myself I’ll have a discussion while doing my make-up about the dream I had that night and what it meant. The advantage of this is I don’t judge myself about what I’m saying and how weird it getting and I never ignore myself!
5.      Lastly I like apples but i never eat them. Obviously I have eaten them before or I wouldn't know that I didn't like them. Even if they’re in the fruit bowl I don't eat them.
You probably think I need some sort of professional help after reading that but I was trying to think of the weirdest facts and actually some things I thought of were so weird I didn’t write them. Try think of 5 of the weirdest things about you. Until next time bye J xoxo

p.s. Well done for reading this far. If I’ve entertained you this long then surely that deserves a followJ

Five things in my bedroom!!!

I'm going to quickly talk you through 5 random items that are in my room. I was originally going to do 10 items but I decided that it would end up being too long and I would start rambing.

My bed

Obviously I have a bed, I think most people do (accept Edward Cullen but he's a vampire so he doesn't count.) My covers have got purple and pink flowers on them, in a really nice design (From ASDA) Then also I have 3 cushions (from eBay) which I thought matched the duvet set. My bed is probably my favourite item in my room just because I love sleeping and I spend most of my Saturday and Sunday mornings in it.

Pictures

The photo on the left is a 3D photo of London. When I first saw it I thought it looked so cool, so my Aunt bought it for me from HMV which is where I also got the frame from.
The two canvases on the right I painted myself. I got the canvases from The Works so they were very cheap, I can't remember exactly how much. I am in love with leopard print which is why a chose this design. On the second canvas I painted the background different shades of purple to match my room, then over the top I painted ‘Dare to dream’ which as some of you may know is the title of One Directions book, I also think that it’s quite an inspirational quote.

DVD's

I decided that because HMV was closing down (so the DVD's are really cheap) that I would buy a few of my favourite films and some others. ‘The proposal’ I think is my favourite just because it’s funny and I think that Ryan Reynolds I awesome and gorgeous. Also I love Zac Efron so I decided that I would take ‘17 Again’ from my families collection of films and claim it to be my own.

 Big Ted!

This teddy bear, which I named 'Big Ted', has been sat on my bed for as long as I can remember. Apparently my Dad won it for my Mum at a fair before I was even born which I think is cute. My friends sometimes ask me why he wears a pair of pants... Why would I want to sleep with a naked teddy bear?

My Bin

This is a bit of a weird one, why would I talk about a bin? However I am quite proud of this little creation of mine. Basically my Aunt bought me this bin a few years ago. Originally it was all pink but recently I started to get bored of it. So I decided I would revamp it. I cut out lots of pieces of cool patterned paper from magazines and stuck them all around the bin. In my opinion I think it is the coolest bin I’ve ever seen, but I can’t say that I’ve seen many bins in my life.

This is just a brief summary of some things I like in my bedroom. I hope you liked it :D
