Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure - Review

I mentioned this nail set before in my ‘What I Got ForChristmas’ post. I’ve finally got a chance to try it out! So here are my first impressions of it.

Pros
  • So far I’ve had no chips, and I’ve had it on for about two days now.
  • They look so cool!
  • The colour choice is amazing! It comes with one nail varnish and really pretty coloured foil.
  • It’s fairly quick to dry.
Cons
  • It takes quite a while to get the look that you are looking for, some patience is needed.
  • It’s really easy to smudge then after you’ve put the foil on.
  • The foil at the tips of my nails have now rubbed off.
I really love these nails! It was a bit fiddly but worth it However if you want to do your nails quickly then I wouldn't recomend this, but if you have a bit of time to do them then it's deffinately worth a go. One tip I picked up was to let the glue go a bit tacky before putting on the foil and then you may have to go and put on some more foil afterwards to add to the effect.  Bye! Bye! xx

A Letter to the Past

Picture from google images

Dear 12 year old Hannah,

Put that pot of Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation down, I really don’t understand why you bought it. All it does is give you orange patches and dries your skin out! Also don’t go for that 2 for 1 one deal on the dream matte mousse, it’s not a good deal, I still have both those pots now (almost 4 years later, yeah I think I should throw those away.) Don’t think that that blusher is any better either. The aim is not to look like someone has slapped you in the face! Start practicing the piano more; you’ll grow to absolutely love it soon and you'll wish you put more effort in. Please stop being so shy, stuff what anyone else thinks. Believe it or not people actually like your real personality, even if you are a bit bazar. And you’ll be amazed at how much your friendship group changes. Your boobs will grow soon, don’t panic. Stop wishing your life away. Also remember to clean the bath after you’ve shaved your legs, the first time you shave it does look like you’ve shaved a gorilla! And finally enjoy yourself. You’ve got a few year before things get serious so have fun now.
Lots of Love,
16 year old Hannah

No-heat Waves

For some reason recently I've been having no spare time in the morning to straighten my hair. So this trick is awesome because in the morning all you have to do is untie your hair and if it turns out well then that’s it or if it looks weird you can just tie it up!  So here’s how I did it;

First I towel dried my hair.

Then I put some of the moose and the serum through my hair and sprayed it with a bit of hair spray (I probably didn’t need all of the products but it makes me feel processional when I use them.)

Next I split my hair down the back into two equal sections. Then on the first side I started twisting the hair from the top gathering pieces as I went down.

When I reached the top of my neck I tied it with a hair bobble while I did the same twisting to the other side. Then I took out the hair bobble and gathered both sides together.

The next bit was slightly tricky; I split all the hair into three sections and plated it down the back.

Then I slept with it all in!
In the morning I simply took the braid out! and that was it!

One thing I would say is DON’T BRUSH IT!!! This makes it go frizzy. If need to you could add a bit more product to help it stay in, but I just left it.
This look is so easy and it’s definitely worth giving a try. Bye! Bye! Xx
