Spain | Day 6

On day 6 we went to a water park so obviously I didn't talk any pictures, however I do have a great story to tell. When people have asked me in the past about my 'most embarrassing moment' I've never had anything to say, however this day at the water park provided me with the perfect story in response to that question...

I’d been on some of the scariest rides in the park with my Dad and sister so we decided to go on one of the calmer rides with my Mum as well. So we queued up for a water slide that was a simple strait down slide. There were four rows next to each other so my family lined up to race each other down to the bottom. Whilst I was at the top of the slide I noticed that the life guard at the bottom was absolutely gorgeous! He had an amazing six pack and his hair was amazing and everything about him was amazing. I was so glad I’d put my water proof mascara on and my favourite bikini on. So then I launched myself down the slide. The water started to spray all over my face then somehow my whole body twisted round so I was then going head first down the slide while struggling to breath. Then suddenly my bikini bottoms whipped off as I entered head first into the water! I was franticly trying to pull up my bottoms, trying to regain my breath. I came up to the surface after sorting my bikini bottoms and I think I got away with it, so I was walking confidently out of the pool (still mesmerised by the  life guard). Then as I walked out of the pool I looked down and found that my bikini top had slipped right down, and I was exposing myself to the world… I wanted the ground to swallow me up.

Spain | Day 4

On Day 4 we went to Gibraltar which was so much fun! The last time that I went I was only 6 so I don’t remember much of it. However I do remember that the monkeys there were very badly behaved and were steeling everyone’s stuff, however they were well behaved this time I went. These are some of the pictures that I took of the day.

The big rock in the middle of the picture is Gibraltar and
at the top is where the monkeys live.

I took loads of pictures of the monkeys so here are a selection of the best.

Spain | Day 3

We spent the day at the beach with all the family. We found some sun loungers and had a sunbathe near old women trying to tan bits of their bodies that I really didn’t want to see (I’ll leave that to your imagination.) We also hired a peddle boat that was great fun however when I sat at the front the boat started to sink.

We can see the cool umbrellas again! This picture reminded me of an article in the daily mail where people had taken pictures of hot dog sausages together looking like legs, obviously these are my legs and not sausages.

We saw this this amazing thing where you put these shoes on and they shoot water out the bottom so you’re flying! Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to have a go with them.

Spain | Day 2

On the second day we went to Puerto Banus which is one of the most posh places I’ve ever been to. Every corner we turned there was a Porsche, Ferrari or Lamborghini. I remember watching a Top Gear episode once and they did a challenge which was based around how many people stopped to take a picture of their cars. I thought that this was silly and that people were crazy for taking pictures of cars. However I found myself doing exactly the same thing walking along Puerto Banus  and I’m not even a big car person.

And there weren’t just fancy cars everywhere there were massive private boats in the harbour as well.

One of the Private boats we saw had a submarine, two jet skis and a helicopter pad on top! The people who owned it must  must have been loaded!!!

I also noticed this amazing dress in the shop window which cost around €10,000 (I’m going to have to save up my pocket money for a few more years and maybe get a job)

And lastly can we all take a minute quickly to admire the detailing on the shoes above, I’m not sure what occasion I would wear them for but they are amazing!

Spain | Day 1

I am really really really sorry that I haven't done a post for a few months now and I know that there is no excuse for it however I do have two excuses for it (I'll attempt to redeemed myself) Firstly I lost my camera charger which was a bummer because I had all my holiday photos on it but I finally got round to stealing my dad’s one so I now have a fully charged camera yey. Secondly I started sixth form this year and even though people warned me that there was going to be a lot of work, I underestimated what ‘a lot’ meant. Any way that’s my apology over so I can now explain the real reason that I am writing this post. In the summer holidays I went to Spain to see my family and I took lots of photos and had lots of fun so over the next couple of weeks am I’m going to share with you what I did.

Day 1

We started the day by going down to the beach and we tried calamari which is battered squid it sounds disgusting but it was actually ok!

The cafĂ© we sat in had an amazing view! And there was a massive cruise ship on the sea. I also think that the umbrellas in the picture are so cool!

We then went for a walk in the sunshine and we saw this awesome house (wouldn’t mind living there)

We were staying at our Aunties house and she has two of the cutest dog the one above is called Jake and the one bellow is called Joey.

We didn’t do lots on the first day because we were a bit tired from getting up at ridiculous hour in the morning to catch the first flight.  But the weather was amazing! XX
